Nice, for a while there I thought yours was going to be painted before mine. How long before we see some color? There have been too many hold ups to this point to guess. Dave starts on it on Monday and I guess it really depends on how much work I have left him. It will be 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year. And I'm thinking of painting it this colour. Can you give me the formula?? ;D Chris

Nyuk Nyuk nyuk ;D It doesn't quite look like that in person It's more like this The inspector had to have a close look when we got it home. They brought it over right when it started to rain, so it was wet and dirty when it came home. And today I found a part that I forgot to get painted......Doh

Thanks for posting the pics Chris... I'll give you a hand with some of the non-vw stuff going on while the DC is getting some color. Just remember that the drop gates need some finishing before they're ready to paint. - DP Oh man do I have work for you DP!! First, I have a beetle that needs an engine and next I have a house that needs some paint! The DC got her lovin', now it's my turn and I'm going to take all I can before the German Ho is back for assembly.....

I'm all about the engine swap on your Beetle... I'm available when you're ready. I'm only as far away as a phone call. It's not like I spend all my evenings on dates with hot women or anything. I spend most of my time complaining that it's raining out everytime I want to work on the Ghia. - DP

I couldn't be happier! It's been a long haul to this point. Maybe it will make a trailer appearance at the RVDC show...
Dave was wet sanding the tape edges this morning. He'll probably be ready to spray the exterior Thursday or Friday.
