Every other forum has a great Pic Post that shows of some of the best and worst that the VW community has to offer. I came across these and decided that a pic post would be a great addition to the forum. ...and now the pics. - DP

Looks right to me except pic #4 would most likely be 51-52 due to the mirror arms on all those buses, and the deep skylights on the deluxe. And pic #5 should be 1951 due to the front emblem having the gap between the V and W.

50-52 on the last pic. I'd kill for that Luftansa panel in pic #4!
I think the single cab is a '57-'58. Short rib front bumper and thin base mirror arms. Of course both those things could have been changed.
I'm diggin' the tall trucks though!

Great Photos people... I LOVE the BD with no window stamping and the VW emblem. I liked the first bus I posted because it (looks like) Birch Green L511 with Cumulus white. I also like the deluxe with Chestnut Brown and Sealing Wax Red (although I don't know what color the roof is). - DP ..also is that an NSU Prinz beside the deluxe in Paul's last photo?

From what I know about the windowless BD in the last photo, it was a prototype that was never released for sale to the public, yeah too bad.

This might fall into the "worst" catagory. But you know what? Honestly, I would drive it! Lowered I think it would make a great little runner for work & back again!
