Hi all, new to the bus scene. Just bought rescued a '56 Single Cab. Named him "Mater". He's in pretty rugged shape. Question though, what does transport canada think on the 'sans seatbelt' issue.

If your vehicle didn't originally come with seat belts you are not required to install them. We did put seat belts in the kombi but that was for racing purposes ;D

You need to host them somewhere and then link them to this site. You can use something like Image Station, download it right to The Samba or I can even do it for you (just email them to me).

Thanks for the feed back all. Yeah I'm pretty stoked, the bugs will have to wait, hopefully not another 15 years! 67 parts car 64 in restore. Here's pics of Mater and the recon mission.
