Hello NUTS! Thought I'd fill you all in on something I've been working on for awhile. I've worked out a deal with Gerson at Klassic Fab to be his Canadian distributor. The first stock order has been made and will be here in a few weeks. All Canadian orders can now be made through me.
Prices have increased from the manufacturer and shipping, as always, is expensive but the quality is incredible. Also, being able to bulk ship stock and keep it on hand makes ordering easier and wait time shorter. Basics will be kept in stock and custom orders can be filled in 60-90 days.
I will be putting together a complete price list in the very near future. I can give specific prices to anyone that needs them now.
PM me with any questions, pricing, or comments. Thanks!
Chris

Good on ya bud, I was wondering who was gonna step up to the plate on this one. If you are on the Airspeed forum you should post it up. If you aren't then you should be. West coast has a large community and will benefit from the stuff Gerson is putting out. Me included.

Here's the link to Klassic Fab's site: www.klassicfab.comThe newest parts list is even more extensive than the one on the site and is growing all the time. Chris

Dam you Chris! This makes it so much easier for me to spend money that I don't have on the Barndoor. I'm sure I will be taking a trip down to Regina for some sheet metal in the future.

This is good news. I have been dragging my feet on ordering some replacement metal because I didn't want to deal with shipping from Columbia. will be ordering some from ya now for sure. What type of stuff do you plan on stocking? Floor pieces, out riggers by any chance?

The first stock order includes:
Early and late front floors and corners, outriggers and jack points, inner and outer rockers, long side panels, b pillars, rear corners, etc. I can add to the list before it ships if anybody needs something soon.
I'll use the first order to judge sales and adjust for the second and on. Belly pans, truck gates, nose sections, cargo floors, etc. will be by custom order for now. I'll try to stock more based on demand.
I'll do my best to keep basic repair panels in stock so you can get or keep your project moving ahead while waiting for the bigger stuff.

I might be needing a couple of front wheel well aft sections. Starting to clean up what's there and am seeing some rust holes. Any idea of an approximate cost?

Dave Dave, do you mean the area directly behind the wheel. The place that gravel would bounce off while cruising down a grid road? Those are usually refered to as the rocker front closeouts. I'll check my pricelist tomorrow when I'm back at the shop. Chances are that the inner rocker and possibly jackpoints are bad too. I'll get back to you on the pricing. Chris

Yup that's the panels. The front jack points are actually not bad. Different story on the rear ones but already bought rear replacements from wolfsburg west last year. Dave

Are these replacement panels just for split window buses? or Do they also provide body panels for bay window's?
Thanks.

They're working on bay stuff as well. I'll check and see what's available. I sent him detailed drawings of bay DC and SC gates already.

Hi Dave, sorry for the slow reply. 10" cargo floor side repair sections are $96.50 each, plus shipping.
