Hey Bus N.U.T.S.
Since I'd rather ask you guys than do a bunch of anti-social research on TheSamba... I have a question I'd like to get an answer to.
What is the difference between an SO-23 Sub Hatch Bus and an SO-33 Sub Hatch bus?
I saw a bus on TheSamba listed as an SO-33 and didn't know what that meant.
Help a Noob... pls kthanks.

Thanks Trevor...
I've been spending a TON of time on TheSamba lately...and Split Busses have earned quite a spot in my heart ( with Chris's help of course ).
If, and when, I get another VW...I'd like a Split Bus...it'doesn't even need to be super old or anything.
Either that, or I know where a late, late model Standard Beetle is sitting...I could grab it cheap, ditch the troublesome F.I. and roll it on some carbs ( or even the 34 PICT-3 I have saved from my first Ghia ).
Who knows... I still have a Ghia to finish.

SO23's and 33's are pretty similar. The 23's (59-61) were earlier and had some fancier frills like tumblers and the black/red upholstery. 33's were mostly 62-65. I think they were a little less fancy in terms of trim and accessories. If you find either kit with the accessory wash basin, you'd be a made man. I'm a bit of a camper nerd so if you're looking at anything in particular, let me know. SO42's are a more common later kit and real versatile for everyday camping if that's what you're looking for.
