So, last night I was at a friend's birthday party and, of all people... Mr. Cam Waugh of CWS Tuning fame was there. We talked for a bit and he asked me how much I knew about Type II's. Well, I told him that I wasn't an expert...but I knew a few people who could be considered experts...and I also referred him to THIS web page. Cam has got his hands on (what he tells me is ) a 1966 Single Cab(although he tells me it has the really small round taillight lenses) that he wants to build. Now, lately he's turned his attention and building skillz toward the "Hot Rod" genre...i.e. the current trend of "rat look"/ Flat Black/Wire Wheel/Pin Striping etc.... He also mentioned that he wanted it to be a LowRider and then showed me the "shitty splitty" single cab - on some page from the web. He asked me where he could get a set of "Safari Windows". It should turn out to be an interesting project... Cam does some pretty cool things when he sets his mind to a project. And since this is an Air Cooled project I can get involved pretty easily. I'll see about getting some more details.... Stay Tuned.. - DP
