Doesn't look bad at all, plus it's still got it's bumpers!

It's not in Saskatoon. It's quite far from here actually. The guy is on drugs. My friend has been in talks with him and he says he is currently taking offers... AKA "fishing". He says he's been offered $2K for it This justifies my drug theory I think. It has a lot of filler and rust issues.

I have talked to him as well. He says he is up to $2500.00 and that he will make a decision in a day or two. I won't bid on something I haven't seen, so it will go to someone else. Thanks for the info on rust and bondo...it confirms my decision!

1959? What am I missing? I thought pressed bumpers ended early '58?

That bus sure looks like a 58 or earlier to me. The pressed bumpers could be bolted on to a over rider bus, but the non recess cargo door says genuine pre 59. Bondo and crappy respray, but it looks fairly complete. If it has all it's seats, it's worth $1K in parts, those bumpers alone are $500.
I get a kick out of guys who say that the engine ran 30 years ago as if that is a strong selling feature!

He originally thought it was a 60 something. He doesn't have a clue and this is evident on his price. He is going off of hear say and misinformation. I would say it's a 58. As for price I think Keith is spot on. Chris and I were talking about this particular bus on the weekend and came to the same conclusion. It will probably end up as someone elses "back 40" lawn ornament for the next 5-10 years before it pops up again in even worse shape.

I'd say it is a 58 with its high tailights and flat engine lid. I also think that $3500 is too much.... Almost looks like it has Safari's, but after looking at the rest of the seals, it just looks like the seals were painted..
my 2 cents...
