Does it have the original ignition or handles?? I'm not sure what the blank number would be, but you can pull the codes directly off the handles. Gabe should be able to help you out. Also, we have a great old locksmith here that has alot of blanks. With an original key from Keith (thanks again buddy) he rekeyed all my locks and ignition to match for about 50 bucks, with an extra key. If you want to send them to Regina, I can set you up.

Where would you find the code on the ignition cylinder? I have a correct cylinder for my Kombi now, but no key for it. So if I can find the code on my door handle I should be able to get the cylinder coded to match?

You can't change the ignition, just the door tumblers. The ignition key # is located at the tip of the mounting tab next to the screw hole. On the handle its the bottom side below the keyhole. Usually SE SH or something with 2 numbers after. You can check out Gabriels site for all the different series of keys. www.gabrielsvwgarage.com/
