Hey
My good Brother Chris delivered my new project this weekend (Bless his heart) - A sept 58 single cab!
It is the "Sportsman Campers" single cab that Chris had. It has three sets of logo's- the oldest being CO-OP logos. The plan is to strip it back to the original CO-OP logos.
My daughter has adopted the SC as her own and named it Daisy, so it is now "Daisy, the CO-OP single cab formerly known as the Sportsman Campers single cab".
Anyhow, I now have about a year to collect up all the bits and pieces I need to make this a runner as I want to have all the parts I need collected up before the Third Annual NUTS Accretion and Soiree. If anyone can help me out with some of this stuff, I'll be beholden.
Some of the substantial thinngs I need
Seat - both bottom and back. (bus front seat is the same)Doesn't HAVE to be period correct, I can recover.
Rear apron - would prefer crank start, but I won't be too fussy
Rear bumper - I have an OK set of tubes and overriders, so all I REALLY need is the blade. This is a Sept 58 bus, so it came with over rider bumpers, not pressed. It doesn't need to be a truck blade, I can modify a bus blade to work.
Front Bumper and mounts - I have a ratty blade, and a ratty towel bar tube, but I really should have a better one.
Eyebrow decklid - I missed pressed bumpers by about three weeks and flat decklid by about three weeks. It should make it easier to find the parts I need.
I need a bunch of little stuff too, like
through window slider latches
inside ribbed door handles
non recess drivers door outside handle
inside light and cover
That's all that comes to mind right off quick.
If you have any of these things surplus, let me know and we'll work out a deal - cash?, trade parts?, trade labour?, stock options??
Let me know
Thanks
