What happened to that 58 that we brought down for you a couple years ago? Did you sell it?

keith has the 58 now. i sold it for the mango bus, sold that for the 66 bus, sold the 66 for pay for tuition. c/s sold my falcon wagon and ...super beetle for a bus again. this time, a keeper.

I think we are all looking for a pre 63 23!!! Not me, I'm holding out for a Sand Green/Palm Green Standard rag. Actually, I'm planning on hacking in a rag on the Mango next winter. I kinda dig the idea of having a hardtop de Luxe and a ragtop Standard

I think we are all looking for a pre 63 23!!! I'm not longing for one. If one came along I guess that would be cool. I'm with Keith on the pea green/sand green standard. But, I'm always looking for the next truck, panel, or kombi. My brother's first bus was a '60 Euro PG/SG sub hatch. Haven't seen one since and we're still trying to find it and buy it back. Chris

I PM'd that guy. Are you familiar with that bus Keith? I hate when guys post for sale and ask for offers. I think this would be a good bus for Brett. It was listed last spring, but evidently it did not sell. I didn't go to see it (I am bussed up pretty good ), but from what I heard, it was not overpriced. I don't know what he is asking for it now though. The pictures are VERY flattering I've been told, but it is still a small hatch split!

I went to take a look at it last spring. It needs a fair bit of work but was pretty solid overall. Don't pay too much attention to the pics he had posted or you might be a little disappointed, it didn't look nearly as purdy when I saw it.
If memory serves he was asking around $3000 at the time. I was a little scared off by what it needed for rust repair as I was looking for an easy clean-it-up project (that seems funny with what I'm going through now) and at the time didn't have the indoor storage space. If I wasn't already ass-deep in the kombi I'd probably have another look.

yeah, i looked at it last spring with my buddy, for him. its got rust. lots. the lower 6" is rotten, like most cdn busses. mechanical is junk, didn't run and nothing inside. i think it was a standard. either way i emailed him and i'm going to take a second look on saturday.
maybe i'll make a 15 window hahahaha no.
