Christmas has come a little bit early this year. Just got a bunch of VW tools I bought from Manfred in the mail today. Now just have to figure how to use them ;D Karma for Hank for connecting us with Manfred. Dave

Manfred was super to deal with! I recieved my 70+lb of tools and manuals yesterday. Unbelievable packaging!
Here's my list:
Oilcooler wrench (VW109) Circlip plier (VW161a) Circlip plier (VW122b) Flywheel stop (VW307) Puller with 3 sets of arms (VW202) Drift kingpin bushing (VW131t) Adj. reamer (18 to21mm) Adj. reamer (21 to 24.5mm) Solid reamer (24mm) Set of (1968 Provisional manuals) Set of (Factory work shop manuals)
The drift and reamer set will get used right away to change up the swing lever pin and bushings on the kombi. Man, it's going to make that job easier!

Manfred was awesome to dealwith! Everything I ordered arrived yesterday, including 2 cool VW coffee cups & a ton on VW parts bags! ;D Here is the list of everything I picked up, just need to get my hands on a few more tools & I should be all set up to re-build tunnel transmissions! VW 288b Backlash gauge VW288c Backlash gauge VW288c/2 Measuring tool VW289d Transmissioncase mandrel VW293 Pinion holding fixture VW293/5 Socket VW294 Gearshift adjusting jig VW296 Gearcarrier removel tool VW297 Ringgear adjusting device VW449/f Pressring for pinion VW452 Gear carrier suport MM Dial indicator. I have a few transmissions that I would like to practice on & eventually I would like to be setup to start repairing & re-building them for other people.

I better show off what we got from Manfred Hazet ball head spark plug wrench transaxle drain plug wrench RGB bearing puller VW 241 Protractor to set the torsion bars VW front wheel lock nuts flat wrenches 27- 32- 41 mm type 1 and 2 gas heater manual L shaped wrench not sure what the heck it is for old factory manuals I've had for years It was a pretty interesting collection of tools Manfred had , it would have been cool to apprentice with some body like him
