Mowser, I havn't heard anything from your friend yet... The insurance is going on this bus hopefully today & one of the other techs I work with is doing the Out Of Province for me early next week. If the weather hold I will have this bus at the Air Riders Bug Thaw in Edmonton April 15th if anyone wants a closer look. P.S. I will fill out & sign an insurance inspection for anyone who buys this bus, that way it will be easy to insure. Greg

I haven't heard form him either. I'm guessing perhaps he's out of town but don't know for sure. That bus would be B.C. Bound if I could talk my wife into another bus. Anyone interested in a '59 DC???

'59 DC? Hmm...... Send me some pictures. Maybe we could work something out. I would have more use for that than a bus right now! Still want a Westy, but a DC could be fun.

Moved to E-bay for a bit...

Well E-bay was a bust. doesn't work for everyone I guess. So, I found a '66 Westy that I would like to pick up but I need to sell the Kombi 1st. Too many VW's in the stable right now. So I'm taking offers from anyone that might be interested. This bus is currently Registered & insured in Alberta, so there would be no need for an OOP inspection. I drive it almost every day to work, it is a good reliable driver. I have about 55 pictures or so that I can e-mail to anyone that is interested. I can also take pictures of any specific areas that you would like to see. I will take any reasonable offer right now, just shoot them my way & we can work something out! Greg

I posted it up on the ASF when you first put it up for sale. It would be better if you posted it yourself but I can relay it for you if you like.

"Air Speed Forum" Duh! I can't beleive I missed that.... Christian is still working as far as I know, I havn't had a chance to talk to him again yet. From what he has told me, his Westy is missing most of the interior anyway. This is another one I found. Needs a nose skin, but other than that it is pretty complete. -Greg

Well the Kombi went to a Good home tonight. Kind of sad to let Krusty go, best running VW I have ever owned. Here we are on the final drive to go make the delivery: And here is Krusty with his new owner: Thanks again JP! Have a great time with Krusty, great old Kombi to drive! -Greg
