So the search is officially on. The camper has been fantastic but it's getting too small for the 4 of us to sleep in. After much talk with the kids and wife we've decided that a 15 window is what we want. I'm not looking for perfection and not scared of a project.
I'm hoping to hang onto the camper until I find one but we'll see. Can't imagine driving a "normal" vehicle next year but.....
Anyone know of one for sale or hiding that they are willing to pass onto another Nut??
Pm me if you do. Thanks, Todd

Did you talk to Keith? He is deeply entrenched in the 15 Window Mafia and I'm sure knows all the comings and goings in the area. There's always the panel-turned-15 window out of Ontario. Shane

I sent him a Pm but haven't heard back. I did notice that one in Ontario... It's got me thinking real hard. Honestly I wouldn't care one way or the other if it was original as long as it was done well. Thanks for mentioning it though... ya never know what you miss...

I don't think he's been online much lately, I'm sure you'll hear from him soon though.
The panel/15-window could be interesting, the issues I've seen brought up is that there are no heat tube or seat mounts in the back, not sure how one would best go about dealing with that (not that it would ever be me but I'd say gas heater and a full length westy bed!).
Did you see the 23 window for sale in Calgary? a few extra little windows and that big hole in the roof could be fun...

You are talking about the concept 1 23 right? It would make for a great project but honestly I have no desire for the sunroof. Any bus I get will end up with front safari's and really I can't see the need for it.
I thought the same thing about that panel conversion. The main reason for getting a 15 window is for the seating. Can't imagine needing the heater tubes much as It'll only see the road between March and November (on a good year). I'm still stewing on that one but not ready to pull the trigger just yet. Thanks for keeping an eye out for me though.

Hey The reason you haven't had much success is that the 15 Window Mafia has not yet vetted your request. We take these kinds of requests seriously and this isn't the kind of organization you can just join on a whim. There are two "made" 15 windows in Saskatchewan and two in Alberta. In order to clinch our hold on the western provinces, BC is the logical place for expansion, but you must prove your loyalty to the Capo I'll have to have a meeting with my fellow lieutenants and determine the validity of your request and we'll be in touch.

Okay so I've been in touch with guy in Ontario with the panel/ 15 window. It's interesting but with it starting life as a panel and not having the seat points and heater outlet I'm hesitant. I've also noticed and contacted a guy in Cali that just posted a '60 15 window. I'm waiting to hear back from him but would be happier to get one that's already in Canada.
Anyone willing to throw me a bone here?

When the Ontario bus was priced at $8500 it was worth thinking about. Since then he's raised the price to 14,500. No thanks.... I'll find a real one for that. I actually had a pending deal on a 13 window but the seller decided to keep it. It'll happen but now I'm thinking I'll keep it on the back burner till spring. If the right one comes up I'll jump but till then I'll keep looking! Keep me in mind though and Thanks guys/gals.
