I am finally getting my bus ready for the dreaded OOP inspection. I am going to be going through the brakes and was wondering what I should replace automatically. The bus has been sitting for 5 years now. Also, I have been told that German brake parts (rubber brake hoses are the ones to get. Who is the best place to order the parts from for brakes. I don't plan on cheaping out for brakes, but I also don't want to have to wait a month for parts either. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Do a fluid flush for sure. Depends on when the brake hydraulics were done last but a set of wheel cyls and a master couldn't hurt. Concept 1 will probably have all the stuff you need in stock.

Good luck with the OOP Bernie! Did Fred do the rust repair for you? Once that animal is legal, we'll have to meet in Red Deer for a coffe or a beer or something.

Thanks Keith, the old girl is still carrying her rust with her. I stopped in and bought some autocraft panels from Ken a little while back, and will be tackling that with a buddy who is a welder. I am going to tackle the brakes and finally get my new wiring harness in place and get the bus fully funtional in the next month. (Anybody on here from Edmonton enjoy wiring up buses??) i will definitly have to meet up with you for a beer! I might even try to make it down to Calgary if I am feeling really confident in the old girl.
