If you post up some pictures, we will be able to tell you for sure... but, any post barndoor, wolfsburg built bus with Semaphores is a fairly rare bird. I think it's only a few weeks of production, if I'm not mistaken. A European bus would have semaphores until 1960. Either way, a cut out torsion housing is not the end of the world. Neither is 2" of rust. I'd be happy if some of my projects only had 2" of rust....

Add my vote to save it. Any real "project" is going to need rockers/jack points/doglegs as far as I've seen, fix the corners and torsion housing and it doesn't look like much else needs to be done. Hell, Ken could probably bust this one out in a couple weekends of work. Shane

Thats a pretty big project, but I agree that you should sell it as a whole. Someone out there will have the want and time to fix it I'm sure of that. Just state in the sale that you will not sell it to anyone who will cut it up.

Nice to see it will stay in country. Hope it is savable as well. I think you will have done better to sell it than to use it for parts.

It's not that bad.... I'm "saving" or at least trying to save a few that are worse. It would be a very cool bus to see back on the road. BTW, nice type 34 (s!) in the background
